Blizzard officially announced the official release date of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Cataclysm, which is the third expansion of the most subscribed MMORPG series, is set to be released on December 7, 2010.
The launching was announced over WoW game launchers and Blizzard's official World of Warcraft site with "A New Age Has Begun" as the tag line.
Cataclysm will feature a lot of changes such as 2 new races for both faction, Worgen (Alliance) and Goblin (Horde); new race and class combination; new secondary profession - Archeology; level cap was increased to 85; new high level zones; and the best change is you can use your flying mount in Azeroth.
Blizzard stated on their official press release that:
The expansion will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows® XP/Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 and Macintosh® at a suggested retail price of $39.99 and will also be offered as a digital download from the Blizzard Store. A special Collector’s Edition packed with bonus items will be available exclusively in retail stores for a suggested retail price of $79.99.
